This is 3 videos of a method I have developed and used for a couple of decades to cast far and accurate with a pin.  In the first cast a Drennan 2.5 oz feeder is used which is the one I always use.  Sometimes with an extra 2.5 oz weight inside during high water Wye cast1 is with 5ozs. The island cast to in cast2 is 45 yds away.

Video 1. A brief look at the gear.

Video 2. The cast performed fast showing the feeder land tight to the island.  I was in the way the first time, removing the pin, casting and replacing pin only takes around 6 seconds.

Video 3. Overhead cast 5ozs of feeder across the river Wye (over 40yds).

I hope you enjoy them, the technique takes a bit of practice but is well worth learning. The difficult part is using the same hand that holds the reel to feather the line to brake.
