This is an unedited version of that which appeared in barbel fisher magazine and
tells how I stumbled on the moon idea, and how I worked things out |
This tells of a method that I developed for using two rods for barbel one as a decoy.
It is also about targetting barbel away from "feeding areas" several
top anglers now use this method and some just give it a different name "ghosting".
Somehow they seem to forget who pioneered this approach and put it in
writing first! Although not one word was written on this before the article appeared
in the barbel fisher magazine, they suddenly ALL claim to have been using
the method for years....AMAZING! |

This is a brief write up detailing the capture of my P.B chub of 7lb 6oz, this is
a RIVER Wye record. It also demonstrates putting this moon stuff to it's best
use, by advancing the moon point from a fish caught the previous day, and using
the state of the atmosphere to ones advantage, targetting the species most likely
to be active! |
